CEO & Founder
Vibrant, veracious and certainly ambitious, Vikram Seth is constantly discovering new ways to break barriers as LoKnow’s Founder and CEO. Now an established leader in the digital advertising and ad tech industry, LoKnow isn’t Vik’s first entrepreneurial rodeo. He previously headed a national student advertising company known for serving universities as far back as 2013. Recognizing the widespread need for a forerunner in new ways of targeted advertising, Vik founded LoKnow to be that industry leader. Today, LoKnow’s growing client scope is endless, from national grocery chains and trucking companies, to financial banking, pizza chains and international e-commerce organizations.
One of few to reach ‘inbox zero’ every morning, Vik prides himself on leading by example. Between envisioning new tech products and steering them to where they can do the most good, Vik is always thinking three steps ahead. At the helm of an expanding company, his unquenchable love of learning keeps him energized — including tapping into new markets and understanding how best to enact LoKnow’s vision. A natural born people-person, his passion for building connections and providing support is apparent, whether that’s digesting new trends to keep clients up to date, or figuring out ways to maintain LoKnow’s vibrant workplace culture.
Vik’s innate wonder for novelty keeps him well-read, well-watched and well-travelled. He finds balance between trying every new restaurant in Calgary, and frequenting the same spot a million times. When he’s not at his desk, you can find him reading the daily news, keeping up with new music, shows and movies, or getting lost in the TikTok FYP. His insatiable media appetite leaves him as the go-to trivia buff both in the office and out. Don’t be afraid to drop him a line about your latest HBO binge — chances are the show you’re watching, he’s seen twice!
President & COO
Tyler wishfully describes himself as a “senior millennial,” but he is unavoidably the office dad. Whether he’s dispensing wisdom or busting guts with his subtle wit, he’s always happy to lend his guidance to the LoKnow team. A “Knower” since day one, he served on LoKnow’s Board of Directors since the company’s founding before stepping into the role of President in 2020. An engineer and proud alumnus of the University of Alberta, Tyler is no stranger to the boardroom. He likes to give back to his alma mater by volunteering his time serving on both the U of A Senate and the Alumni Council.
True to his nurturing nature, Tyler is happiest tending to his garden or spending time playing basketball with his kids. He’s currently working towards a really unstoppable old-guy catch-and-shoot three-pointer. Here’s hoping an errant rebound doesn’t land in his precious raspberries!
Don’t let his air of respectability fool you, though – Tyler knows how to let his hair down once in a while. His go-to party trick is he can recite pi to 35 decimal places. (Spoiler—the 35th digit is 8!)

Imagine the Monopoly man, now make him a woman in a fancy crystal studded black tux, add in a cherry red cape and that is Cerise for you! Here’s why. Cerise has always had her eyes on the cash. She’s naturally had a keen interest in managing money at a very early age and that is exactly what she does today. As the Director of Finance & Administration, Cerise brings more than 10 years of industry experience in the realm of finance, operations, administration and executive management. Why the cherry red cape you ask? Because she’s like a superhero with her genuine willingness to help save the day in the best way she can. All the while being equipped with the technical skills, professional credentials as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner.
Her outgoing nature has granted her the title “The Glue”! That’s because Cerise’s house became the hub for many social gatherings amongst her friends. Gabby’s passion for lifelong learning has left her well-read, well-rounded and well-learned. Starting her career in banking and finance at ATB, Gabby has worn many different hats during her past tenures. With experience in both leadership and sales as a Personal Relationship Manager, Personal Banking Manager, Branch Manager and Business Development Manager, she was awarded with ATB’s ‘President League’ award three times over the decade! Gabby joined the world of technical recruitment in response to her longstanding fascination with the tech start-up world. With her interest to join the grass-root movements of an innovative company that was disrupting the tech world, Gabby found her way to LoKnow.
With her signature laugh, Gabby’s incandescent personality can light up any room, and make her clients feel at home. Despite back-to-back client meetings filling her days, Gabby values taking a well-needed break in her downtime. A big advocate of the ‘work hard, play hard’ mantra, you can often find her hitting her favourite Pilates studio over the lunch hour or seizing sunny evenings to connect with family and friends on her rooftop patio.
Gabby has owned three franchises of her own over the years, however, when she’s not nose-deep in projects, travelling is her pastime of choice. With an appreciation for experiencing new, unique cultures, some of Gabby’s favourite visits so far have included Ibiza, Thailand, Mykonos and the Amalfi Coast. A classically trained pianist, and an undefeated Tetris champion, Gabby’s zest for knowledge and learning has made her a valuable addition to the LoKnow team, and a beloved director on our Strategy & Sales team.

An outdoor enthusiast through and through, Cam is an avid hiker, runner, snowboarder, wakeboarder and mountain biker. He’s been involved in three avalanches, two Death Races and even caught a fish once while wakeboarding. How this guy is still alive, we’re not quite sure. It could be due to his eternal optimism. Cam always wakes up on the right side of the bed and might just be the friendliest guy you’ve ever met. He’ll converse with you for hours on any topic, including how to find the best lighting for nature photography, how to rebuild your car’s engine—he rebuilt his first when he was 14—or even the finer details of particle physics and quantum field theory. Cam has an MBA from Queens where he won multiple internal and external case studies, and also studied in Hong Kong while a University of Alberta student working on his BCom in Marketing and Business Law. Cam’s passion for life, learning, adventure—and fast cars—follows him from home to the office. He’ll always go the extra mile when it comes to client care and won’t stop working until every part of a campaign is race-ready.
Executive Vice President - Product & Technology
One of our OG members, Travis tells some pretty interesting stories about moving to Edmonton and meeting with the team everyday at Transcend Coffee before having an office. Fast forward to having over 5 locations, Travis had a front row seat to watching LoKnow make strides. He’s a team player, so much so that his dad-like qualities landed him his own :dadtrav: emoji on our Slack channel. Hailing from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management (with great distinction!) under his belt, Travis knew that advertising was where he was meant to be. The former Advertising Manager at the U of L student paper, The Meliorist, Travis was also a semi-finalist in Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec in 2014. Travis joined the LoKnow team directly out of University and has since been an integral part of the LoKnow team, wearing many hats along the way.
An active person by nature, you can often find Travis sharpening his competitive edge playing sports like golf and volleyball, or chasing around Gus, his 3-year-old Toy Poodle, with his wife in his free time. If he’s not playing a sport, he’s likely watching one – namely the Blue Jays and Raptors! He’s a fan of working with his hands (or as he likes to call it, “tinkering”), and as a result has picked up quite a few new skills, from cooking and making cocktails, to yard work, planting, gardening, painting, building things and other odd jobs around the house. Tinkering isn’t the only thing Travis enjoys in his leisure time – one of his favorite things to do is a good old fashion walking pub crawl, especially when traveling. For Travis, Good Food = Good Mood, which might explain his unconditional love for pizza. He loves technology, and buying new electronics is as exciting as unwrapping presents on Christmas morning. He also has a small sneaker collection which has been on ice since he hasn’t had much of a reason to dress up and go out for a while – but perhaps an overdressed pizza run could change that?
VP - People & Brand
Anna began her professional journey in graphic design and communications, where she spent the first decade of her career in the for-profit, non-profit and freelance worlds. Her keen attention to design and artful creativity has led her into many creative opportunities such as being a part of a Summit Creative Award winning campaign, and becoming part of the marketing committee for the Nordlys Film and Arts Festival. With her expansive and diverse skill set, Anna originally joined the S&S department in her early days at LoKnow. As the company grew, Anna took on a new (and rewarding) task in the world of people and culture and has found an adoration for it. Still using her sharp eye everyday to interact with communications and design, Anna gets the best of both worlds by working with everything design and people-related.
A lover of learning and landscapes, Anna indulges in going for adventurous walks while plugged into a podcast to discover new perspectives. Her pastimes of choice include travelling to the mountains, reading books (both the real and audio kind), and scoping out new restaurants. While she doesn’t have any pets just yet, her unrealistic dream is to adopt a rescued Great Dane/Poodle mix to join her and her green family. Her plant companions are flourishing under her care; with 41 plants and counting, she definitely has a green thumb.
Described as kind, empathetic, helpful and an inspired leader by her team, Anna is a guiding voice and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. A natural mentor, Anna has helped shape many of the things the team values most in LoKnow culture today. Most proud of her ability to adapt to new changes in her life, Anna holds three post-secondary diplomas, and looks forward to adding an additional degree. With her ambitious nature and tenacious personality, Anna is working towards her CPHR designation and hopes to continue expanding our team of Knowers!

Hey there, sports fans! You might know your stuff but we bet you’re not as fanatic as Vi. Her goal is to visit every stadium in North America and she’s already hit 15 of them. She religiously watches football every Sunday and various other sports nearly nine months of the year with her dad and friends, cheering for the Seahawks, Oilers and Dodgers. She’s also huge into hot yoga and snowboarding. So much so that she’ll drive four hours from Edmonton to Banff to catch a good snowfall for a day of shredding down a mountain and then drive home. Her collection game is on point too. Being a bit of a sneakerhead, Vi collects shoes, mostly vintage Jordans, and has more than 40 pairs. Born and raised in Edmonton, Vi studied marketing at MacEwan University and has always been interested in the creative processes of advertising (maybe partially due to being a big Mad Men fan). But she might argue the best lessons come from the mob. At least on screen. Vi loves all things mafia-related like Casino, Goodfellas and The Sopranos, and as far back as she can remember always wanted to be a gangster. Jokes!

Ben likes to keep active by going to the gym, playing hockey and snowboarding. You’d think he’d have some painful broken bone stories to share, but his calcium stores are too strong for that as he’s never so much as had a fracture. Ben’s love of sports extends to the professional leagues and the Blue Jays, Cowboys and Oilers get his loudest cheers—but that’s where the noise ends. He’s not one of those guys who’ll yell, “Missed a spot!” at unsuspecting zamboni drivers. He understands the pressure of having an arena full of people watching you manoeuvre a giant mop around the ice since he used to drive one himself. Ben graduated with a BCom from MacEwan University, and is also a NAIT Marketing grad. Before coming our way he worked as a trainmaster at CN. This guy has had the coolest jobs! Ben likes to spend his weekends camping and brings along his very silly husky-cross Stella. If he happens to be sticking around the city he’ll either be sitting on a patio, drink in hand, or bingeing a new Netflix series while waiting for HBO to release the latest season of Game of Thrones. Oh, and he believes that all of Westeros is screwed with a white walker dragon on the loose.

With more than 12 years of experience, Jennifer lives and breathes all things marketing. Her educational arsenal includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Cultural Studies, as well as a post-grad in Advertising Management. She’s worked for multiple global media agencies, including the largest independent full-service agency in Canada. Some of her professional highlights include working on the first-ever digital campaigns for Tim Hortons, planning and buying media for the Canadian launch for Victoria’s Secret, and developing the media plan for the iconic ‘Meow Mix’ jingle. A Media Innovation Award Winner for her work on SVEDKA Vodka, Jennifer joins the LoKnow team after her latest role working on marketing and communications with the team at Dandelion Inc.
When she’s not catering to the every need of her two year old, Jennifer enjoys trying her hand at every activity possible. You can find her unwinding by hitting the greens for a round of 18, soaking up the sun at a cottage, playing beach volleyball, or shredding the slopes. If you ask nicely, she might even tell you about her days as a radio DJ in university or how she got her Scuba Diving Certification.
Controller - Finance & Administration
With more than ten years of experience in the accounting world, Sonney brings a wealth of financial expertise to LoKnow. Beginning his career in banking as a Financial Advisor, Sonney decided to shift his focus to accounting. He took the leap and went back to school, earning his CPA Designation and kicking off his accounting career. Good thing too—we’re lucky to have him as a Controller on our F&A team!
Outside the office, Sonney likes to spend his days with his family, particularly his 2 children who keep him busy and always on his toes. In the warmer seasons, you’ll likely find Sonney finessing his swing on the golf course. He once set a goal for himself to hit in the 70’s, and recently hit a 76—one of the proudest moments in his life, rivaled only by the day he learned to moonwalk.
Head of LoKnow Labs
A proud alumnus of the University of Alberta, Kirk has been part of LoKnow since its founding, serving on the Board of Directors and lending his guidance to the executive team. Launching LoKnow Labs in 2022, he now keeps a watchful eye on the future of tech and advertising, exploring new ideas to ensure LoKnow’s future growth and success.

Adam is a natural bundle of energy on our team of Knowers. Lethbridge-born and raised, Adam’s background began in Urban Studies, where his strategic thinking and ability to see the bigger picture groomed him into the wealth of knowledge he is today. Through his journey, he’s always pictured himself joining the hustle and bustle of “the big city” and living on the Red Mile. Eventually both happened and Adam found himself at LoKnow!
As cliche as it sounds, Adam loves living an active lifestyle. Unquestionably an outdoors person, Adam enjoys everything from golfing, volleyball and running, to cycling, backcountry skiing, and even wake surfing. Although, his affinity for outdoor sports somehow transferred into a love for 10 pin bowling (currently seeking a local roster spot)! Adam is an office wanderer, not often found behind his desk – when he’s not starting the day with a morning workout, he’s ending it with some fresh air at the dog park, courtesy of his Australian Labradoodle, Marvel. Yes, Marvel like the MCU – Captain America wielding Thor’s hammer still gives him goosebumps to this day. Adam prides himself on his DVD collection with Christian Bale’s Batman or Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy on CD, and his uncanny talent for remembering the lyrics to almost any song – country not included.
Known for his incredible emotional intelligence, Adam genuinely loves meeting new people, and comes to life around them. Adam’s positive outlook on life has proven to be both infectious and uplifting. He indulges in the little things, like his daily black coffee IV drip, obsessive cleaning breaks and consuming his weight in sushi. His long term goals are humbly simple (and relatable), including quality hip mobility throughout the years, becoming a Girl Dad (see urban dictionary) and learning to cook hard-boiled eggs that actually peel properly.

Alli is an upbeat and effervescent individual, with a passion for business that burns as brightly as her fondness for fire-type Pokémon. Always striving to be the very best (like no one ever was), her proudest achievement was completing her MBA in 2019 and then starting a clothing-design business with her friends. In 2021 she brought her talents to LoKnow to rep the brand in Saskatoon, our first official resident employee!
No offense to her business buddies, but her best-est friend in the whole world is her sweet little doggo, Rogue. Unlike her X-Men namesake, she won’t steal your powers when cuddled–only your heart! She also has two cats, Odin and Athena, who are each others’ best friend in order to maintain the balance of power in the household.
Energetic as she is, she’s happiest when she’s on the move. Eagerly going on adventures around the globe at any opportunity, taking in live music and theatre shows or even just going to the gym for some Muay Thai kickboxing—she must be a fighting-type Pokémon!
Regional Sales Manager
A true people’s person at heart! Amanda has 15 years of serving experience under her belt as well as floor walking and managing at The Keg. She applies all the people’s skills she’s gained over the years to her professional marketing career. Having graduated from SAIT and having worked as a Marketing Client Coordinator for a year before joining LoKnow, Amanda’s skill, creativity and charm exceptionally shine when doing client-facing work at LoKnow as a Coordinator of Strategy & Sales.
Amanda has unrelenting energy when it comes to achieving goals that she sets her mind to. That’s always the case when she makes sure to plan workouts with her sister, meal preps and stays active. But even more so when she went back to school, made it to the dean’s list as she graduated, all while working full-time, living on her own, and taking care of her dog, Bentley who she’s had for 8 years! Bentley is Amanda’s small Bichon who looks angelic but acts like a huge dog who needs to assert his presence!
If there is one thing that particularly shines about Amanda, it would be her ability to play music that goes exactly with the mood and/or the weather! On top of that, her hidden talents include singing, being fluent in French, and slowly convincing people to join TikTok.

Regan moved back to his hometown of Winnipeg after a 25-year hiatus down under. He got his start selling sporting goods before branching into the ski industry at Sun Ice Ski Wear in Calgary. As sales manager, he signed the Canadian National Ski Team to the brand and the Team started to win! Coincidence? Sales went from 1M to 40M and the brand was awarded Official supplier to 88 Calgary Winter Olympics. This was a big win as Regan’s first love has always been skiing. He’s heli-skied in the Kootenays, spent 250 days at Whistler, and skied Banff, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Vail and Tahoe, to name a few. In ‘94 the family moved to Melbourne where Regan worked with Callaway Golf as the national sales manager for the South Pacific. He’s the kind of guy who’s got a great energy and will try anything once. In Australia he learned to surf, drive on the wrong side of the road and call a sweater a jumper. Since he’s been back in Canada, he’s started skiing and ice skating again and riding his bike every day. He’s also got a thing for old speed boats—and owned a 22′ mahogany boat. He loves the varnish, the sound of the motor, the wind in his hair and being on the water.

Have a question about cars? Ask Royden! Since applying his marketing degree within the automotive industry, car knowledge has become second nature for him. After relocating to Edmonton from Ontario as a District Manager for General Motors, Royden’s ambition to delve deeper into marketing analytics finally led him to LoKnow!
We’re learning that Royden’s a man of many talents – not only can he drive a manual transmission (no surprises here!) but he’s also a self-proclaimed pun-master, dad-joke connoisseur and probably has one of the highest records of Cadbury Mini Eggs consumed in one sitting. Like any other husband and dog dad, you can usually find Royden trying to convince his wife that tofu isn’t all that bad or visiting the local dog park multiple times a day. Parent to Lily, a two-year-old Labradoodle and an 11-year-old Russian Blue Cat named Socrates, Royden spends his free time balancing Lily’s constant need for cuddles and Socrates’ habit of eating before the sun comes up.
With the free time that Royden does find, he enjoys watching reruns of Schitt’s Creek, spontaneous weekend trips to Jasper, and long bike rides through the river valley to discover new hidden places in nature. Much to his own surprise, he’s not the biggest fan of camping as his fear of being eaten by wolves > his love for s’mores.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Tabitha has certainly made her mark in the ad industry. Shortly after earning her degree in Advertising, she worked with Australia’s largest media network and later put her passion for travelling to work as National Account Manager for Hamilton Island, the largest tourist destination in the Great Barrier Reef. She made the move to Canada in 2021, trading sun and surf for snow and … snow, seeking to expand her career into the realm of advertising technology. Seeing the strides LoKnow was making in the ad tech space, she was delighted to join the team and help make digital advertising a beneficial experience for clients and customers alike.
A seasoned world traveler, Tabitha has been to more than 30 countries, joyously soaking up the culture and cuisine of each locale. After settling in Canada, hiking and snowboarding quickly became Tabitha’s favourite ways to appreciate the beauty of her new country. At home, she prefers the tried-and-true pleasures of sleeping in, shopping, and wining and dining with friends. Tabitha truly lives the high life, whether at home or abroad!

Meet Divleen, a self-proclaimed monkey! Divleen learned how to do aerial silk aerobics at Circofit because she enjoys focusing on sense development, balance, core development, and flexibility. This Thursday evening tradition keeps her motivated and fired up all throughout the week!
Like the true Gryffindor that she is, Divleen is always curious about how things work, why things are a certain way, and how she can advance herself. To satiate her curiosity about the world, Divleen went on an exchange trip to Vienna to finish her BComm degree and travelled to twenty-two countries in 2017! Her goal is to always have the number of countries she’s visited exceed her age numerically.
Divleen is always looking to grow and challenge herself. Having graduated from the University of Alberta after she studied HR, she particularly wanted to satisfy the love she has for building relationships and connecting with people to help in any way she can.
As someone who is always intrigued by human and consumer behaviour, Divleen enjoys working with LoKnow’s clients, researching their customer base, and learning more about their industries.

Michelle moved to Vancouver a few years ago from Hong Kong and is quite the linguist. She perfected her English by getting involved in student groups, working in a bubble tea shop and joining an a cappella choir. She also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean—thank you, Korean dramas!—a little bit of Japanese and enough Portuguese to teach her friends how to swear. She has become quite accustomed to the West Coast’s laid-back lifestyle and loves looking up at the sky and the tall trees. She says in Hong Kong the buildings are so tall she didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy nature in the same way. She’s noticed that even our escalators are laid-back, whereas in Hong Kong they’re so fast that if you’re not paying attention you could fly right off. Michelle studied communications and publishing at Simon Fraser University and has an interest in book-jacket design. She loves a simple image that uses the right colour scheme to capture a reader’s attention—you might say she really does judge a book by its cover. She loves wandering and exploring the city, book in hand, and if she’s not hanging out at a coffee shop in Gastown, she’s most likely lounging around English Bay.

Adrian was introduced to digital marketing in his college days, dipping his toes into the world of freelance work in content creation and social media. Passionate about helping businesses grow, he was drawn to LoKnow, where he could work on advertising strategy and execution within the A&O team—that, and the idea of working alongside a team instead of having to do it all himself!
Though none of his pets could join him on the trek to Canada, Adrian is a pet-parent to four dogs, plenty of fish, and multiple birds. He admittedly has a special place in his heart for his pet Sun Conure named Blue—though its feathers are ironically a mix of yellow and red. A self-taught barista, Adrian will happily pass up a Starbucks or Tims run for a warm cup of home-brewed coffee, courtesy of his professional equipment. When he’s not crafting his own cold brew or pining for his many pets, Adrian unwinds by learning songs by ear on the piano, sax, guitar and bass.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Aela is no stranger to Media Communications. Working in Advertising even before her move to Canada, Aela had the chance to flex her creative muscles at a number of small businesses. Eager to further her knowledge in the realm of advertising, she took the plunge (even further) into the world of Digital Marketing, taking almost every course you could think of online. Captivated by LoKnow’s mission and vision, Aela knew she wanted to join the team and help others understand digital ads. Although, she admits our furrier Knowers may have played a part as well—Aela has a few furry friends of her own—five pups to be exact! She hopes to one day bring them from the Philippines and recruit them to our headshot hall of fame.
In true Leo fashion, Aela embraces her productive side by squeezing in a morning workout everyday. On weekends, she tries to find balance between doing everything she’s ever wanted to do, and camping out on her couch to catch up on K-Dramas (could that be a Libra rising?). Also a proud Army, Aela is always ready for any convo about all things BTS, and loves meeting fellow fans. On the days she finds herself outdoors, she likes to move it, move it! She’s always on the move — from running and hiking, to biking to skating, Aela is intent on finding new ways to break a sweat!

Alim’s love for marketing dates back to his BCIT days, where he got his Marketing Communications Diploma, and later on, a Bachelor of Business Administration to follow. Before becoming a Knower, Alim was an expert in the B2B technology industry, with a focus in the automotive advertising realm. With extensive experience in digital, product, and growth marketing, Alim is revved (ha!) to finally expand his client marketing skills as one of our Strategy and Sales Coordinators.
Alim is the happiest (and ironically, the most stressed) during an intense game of football. A die-hard New Orleans Saints fan, every Sunday you can find him parked on the couch from 10 am to 9 pm bingeing as many games as he can. When he’s not dedicatedly watching NFL Redzone, he spends his free time travelling, hitting the gym and keeping-up-to-date with the stock market.
A proven polyglot, Alim can speak four and a half languages, namely English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kutchi and some basic Spanish. With his fervor to learn more, Alim aspires to master his leadership skills as his career progresses – manager, executive, and then who knows? Alim for Office 2024?

Easygoing and full of smiles, it was only a matter of time before Alison would join our group of Knowers. Alison’s ongoing captivation with strategy games eventually translated into an interest in consumer behaviour which directed her towards a career in advertising. After working for one of LoKnow’s partners during her university co-op, Alison was intrigued by the inner workings of digital advertising campaigns, and knew LoKnow would be the perfect place to satiate her interests!
You’ll almost always find Alison outdoors on the weekend, no matter the activity; hiking, kayaking, going for a walk, travelling—the list is endless. She’s even among few who enjoy yardwork! When indoors, Alison likes to bake and reputedly makes some mean banana muffins. You could say that baking makes her bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S. A lifelong learner, she’s always on the lookout for new workshops and courses to nourish her need for knowledge. How much does Alison love learning? The limit does not exist.

Do you like bad jokes and groan-worthy puns? Then Amber’s your gal! Formerly a hairdresser and adult educator, Amber was working towards an HR Management diploma when she was hired to join a marketing team. She dove head-first into the role and thrived, demonstrating her trademark creativity and organizational skills. She loves working as part of a team and is always ready to make a positive contribution, be it bringing delicious baking to the office or organizing a team-building scavenger hunt!
A self-described life-long learner, Amber’s hobbies are as varied as her career. Very artsy, she dabbles in freeform embroidery as well as pointillism, and is sure to hit up any local galleries or museums on her travels. Live music is her jam, with genres like folk, alternative, symphony or 80s new wave whetting her musical appetite. She’s also a proponent of community gardens, caring deeply about food security, access to nutrition, and fostering positive change and resiliency in our communities. Perhaps her most important hobby is catering to whims of her feline overlords: Warrior Princess Kitana Rumbleroar Squeakerbum and Baron Heinrich von Fuzzybottom. You can just call them Kitana & Henry; they’re not sticklers for formality.

Back when the internet was young and fresh, teenage Amy taught herself how to make websites. Her inspirations? Mandy Moore, O-Town and rainbows. Yass! She studied software engineering at university and went on to build a pop-culture website empire that included sites on Hunger Games, Game of Thrones and actors Darren Criss and Robert Pattinson, which at one point was pulling in 10 million page views per month. At the same time, she managed to play 200 days’ worth of World of Warcraft. Amy loves Game of Thrones and co-created a GoT podcast and travelled to Croatia to visit King’s Landing—Red Keep! When she was 12 her family moved to Botswana for a year where their safari jeep once got stuck between a mama elephant and her baby. Amy loves animals and has been vegan for eight years—she decided to cut off meat cold turkey (get it?). Amy is big on weightlifting and you can find her at the gym four or five nights a week. Who’s that fellow masterfully gliding to his desk with his cup filled to the brim, never spilling a drop? Why it’s Andrey, fluid balancer and programmer extraordinaire!
Andrey’s passion for programming began in the academic field where he learned Python/Django for scientific applications, and then went on to ply his trade in industrial and startup environments. Andrey is cool, calm, collected… and completely cat crazy! He loves the critters so much he even married a woman named “Cat” (okay, actually “Kate,” but close enough!). When not fawning over fuzzballs, he likes to spend his free time playing board games or hiking amidst the scenic locales of the Greater Vancouver area.

A web developer by trade, Arthur has been working in the tech industry since graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2016. He’s worked a variety of positions in the industry, including being a research programmer at the BC Cancer Agency. When he’s not on the go, you’ll likely find Arthur perfecting his dumpling wrapping skills, researching 25-minute recipes, or pining for the attention of Sarah, his Yorkshire Terrier-Shitzu cross, who uncannily resembles an Ewok from Return of the Jedi.

Quiet on set! Brian can belt out that clarion call at higher than 110 decibels when needed, having worked as an assistant director in Toronto’s film industry for ten years. At any given point during a day he was responsible for dozens of actors and stunt personnel, and coordinating over 100 crew. Making sure they were in the right place at the right time, fixing problems, thinking on the fly and basically creating order against an unyielding tide of chaos—actors, am I right? Brian then completed post-grad studies in PR and Interactive Marketing Communications and worked as a freelancer before making the journey west. His pastimes include creating card and board games and TV show outlines. He has even created characters, mostly villains, that have appeared on television. Brian’s pretty much a jack-of-all-trades and regardless of the project he’s working on, he’s listening to a soundtrack tailored to the job. Brainstorming walks at night might call for one of his favourite horror soundtracks, while showing up early to crunch some pre-morning tasks might demand that the office sound like a 3am rave.

Blending art and science is not easy, but Daniel has done exactly that. Having learned how to play the piano and currently singing in a jazz choir, Daniel has followed his adoration for music. Likewise, he pursued his passion for technology by studying Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge and turned this hobby into a career.
Daniel once spent a year in Nairobi, Kenya, volunteering his skills to develop software for a hospital. He has travelled all across East Africa, as well as Hong Kong, Spain, Germany and South Africa. A fluent French speaker, Daniel seized the opportunity to work in Montreal for a year and a half, as it was a great excuse to spend more time and bond with his brother who studied there.
Daniel is fascinated by philanthropy when it has a positive effect on healthcare, education and poverty, particularly the work of Bill and Melinda Gates. His own contributions include chapel speaking at a boys’ camp where he came up with a week’s worth of lessons, incorporating fun elements like costumes, raps and lasers. Talk about inspiring!

With his background in engineering physics and computing, David is a certified electronics whiz. A proud Queen’s University alum, David’s interest was originally sparked by the program’s mission to teach undergraduates how to learn difficult things faster. A natural athlete, David’s recharging activities of choice include basketball, football and basically any other sport under the sun. His ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality has kept him balanced—when he’s not working hard in the office, you can find him at the helm of some organized pranking. More than anything, David is inspired by his friends and family; watching them succeed motivates him to push himself further—when he’s not pranking them mercilessly, of course.

Donnalee is a talented, optimistic firecracker. Hailing from a musical family, she’s a bona fide one-woman band: drums, vocals, sax, piano, guitar, clarinet—she plays them all! Although, her instrument of choice is the keyboard (the QWERTY kind), as she specializes in written communications with a strong background in Digital Marketing. Between her marvelous musical mastery and her capacity to compose quality copy consistently (say that 10 times fast), Donnalee literally brings both culture and communications to the C&C team!
In her off hours she runs a digital fashion magazine, doing everything from planning issues to onboarding volunteers all while keeping things generally organized. She loves exploring her crafty side and teaching herself new skills, whether it’s learning Spanish, baking macarons, or taking up a new instrument (what’s next? Tuba?). In contrast to the energetic world of digital marketing, Dora favours tranquility in her free time. She often practices yoga to relax, relieve stress and keep both body and mind refreshed. She’s also keen on flower arranging, a relaxing hobby that brings joy and colour into her life as well as the lives of others. A well-made bouquet makes the perfect gift to brighten someone’s day!

Gavin is quite the clever biscuit. He spent much of his early career managing supply chain and logistics at a cookie factory (the tasty kind, not the third-party kind). A life-long lover of tech, he decided to shift gears career-wise and went back to school full-time to learn web development. He took to his new trade like a cookie to milk, soaking up all the skills and knowledge to satisfy his curiosity. This lust for learning led him to LoKnow, where he continues to glean wisdom from his T&D teammates while getting to play around with and improve our constantly evolving tech.
True to his inquisitive nature, Gavin enjoys playing puzzle games and finds joy in figuring things out, but has yet to solve the most curious puzzles of all: his two weirdo cats! He spends his off-hours rock climbing, playing guitar and watching anime into the wee hours of the morning.

For such a short time in the industry, Hannah has an impressive list of accomplishments. While pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce from MacEwan University, she worked as a freelance digital marketing coordinator for several companies, running ad campaigns and managing social media content, and even helping a client develop their brand kit and website from scratch! Co-op placements saw her developing training materials with the City of Edmonton, as well as creating and coordinating content for a psychology firm’s nine social media channels. Armed with her degree and a healthy amount of real-world experience, Hannah’s next step was to bring her remarkable digital media expertise to LoKnow as part of our S&S team.
As someone who likes to keep busy, Hannah spends her off-time being outdoors and active: yoga, walking, hiking, and traveling count among her favourite pastimes. A certified foodie, she loves to cook, and her mission in life is to cook a dish from every country in the world. Although she loves dogs, she cannot adopt one due to a household allergy. Not one to be deterred, Hannah channels that disappointment into being the favourite aunt among all her friends’ fur babies!

Independent and optimistic, Heeju came to Canada with an adventurous spirit, learning a new language, culture, and meeting some awesome characters along the way! Originally from Korea, she specialized in HR and recruitment before moving to Toronto to further her education, going on to develop her management and people skills in the hospitality industry. She wanted to work for a company that understood the importance of people, and was drawn to LoKnow’s mission, values, and genuine care for employees. Mostly, however, she was drawn to our colourful logo. Fair enough.
A friendly and easygoing type, Heeju enjoys the simple pleasures of her morning coffee and going for walks—weather-permitting, of course; she’s not fond of the cold. Why she lives where she does is a mystery; perhaps the snowy setting reminds her of her dog, Gomsoon (Korean for “polar bear”) who, appropriately, looks like a polar bear.

Some of his top watches include Schindler’s List and Princess Mononoke, to name a few. When he’s not tackling his watchlist or playing League of Legends, Jared likes to enjoy classical favourites like Richard Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries,” maybe even mixing it up with a little Bach or Debussy.

Milkie likes it quiet. Or very, very loud. Nothing in between.
For someone who favours extremes, Milkie’s a very chill dude. He likes to start each day in his backyard, enjoying the fresh air and silence… before putting his headphones on and cranking the volume to 11. It’s no surprise he’s a fan of Formula One—the speed and sound suit him to a tee!
His career track is no less exciting. After graduating from MacEwan University with a business management degree, Milkie started using Twitter… a lot. While exploring all the benefits and subtleties the platform has to offer, he discovered digital marketing was his calling. Quarantine was merely a pit stop, where he took the time to learn everything he could about digital marketing, figure out his life goals, and what values he wanted to see in an employer. In LoKnow he found a company whose values aligned with his own, and from then on it was off to the races!

Born and brought up in Dubai, Narmeen moved to Canada at the young age of twelve, living in both Toronto and Fort McMurray, before moving to Edmonton! Though she’s always had a knack for all things visual, it wasn’t until she began pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences that she realized her love for all things social media and design. In her time freelancing, Narmeen worked as a consultant, creating social media content, print and digital collateral for local businesses and charities. Given her passion for both social media and volunteering, it wasn’t long before she took up a position as a social media coordinator for the international Mosquers Film Festival, where she’s now in her 4th year as the Marketing Director! With her digital savvy and interest in design, It only makes sense that Narmeen’s ambitions landed her a spot at LoKnow as one of our S&S dynamos.
Narmeen has a brilliant sense of humor and a friendly disposition, and can always be seen photobombing in the back of pictures with her signature peace sign. If she’s not smiling on the other side of our Google Meets, rumour has it you can find her enjoying a nap, adding to her extensive jewelry collection, or learning the latest TikTok transition. A natural adventurer, Narmeen is always the first to try out new halal restaurants in the city, and is constantly planning her next concert destination (who’s next, Harry Styles?). She also happens to be a chai connoisseur, and makes a killer latte. She must’ve had a lot of practice – if you don’t succeed at first, chai again, right? Her goals currently include working towards a 5-star island on Animal Crossing, trying to learn the “From Now On” dance number from the Greatest Showman, and learning how not to kill her office plant – all tips are welcome!

Seeking to hone his technical skills, he was drawn to the LoKnow team’s diversity and industry know-how. Now as part of our A&O team, he looks forward to learning all he can about digital marketing, while also drawing on his own business experience to contribute a fresh client-side perspective to every campaign.
Naru typically spends his off-time hanging out with family and friends, sampling fine Mexican cuisine or knocking back a pint of Victoria-brewed Dark Matter beer. Though he has no pet of his own (yet), he loves all dogs great and small, and he absolutely must pet each and every canine critter he meets. His greatest culinary achievement was successfully making a dog-friendly pizza—needless to say, his friend’s doggo ate well that night.

Nolan is our resident machine learning specialist, but he himself is a learning machine. Graduating from the University of Calgary with an honours degree in physics, Nolan discovered his passion for machine learning when he got to test the efficacy of quantum computers. He spends a lot of his time studying and reading university-level textbooks on physics and electrical engineering. When he really wants to relax, Nolan plays computer games that tickle his strategy-loving nature.
An avid learner, Nolan thinks of his university experience as learning how to learn, and is fascinated by teaching. He particularly looks up to physicist Richard Feynman and his easy-to-follow approach to teaching difficult concepts. Along with his interest in electrical engineering, he would someday like to delve deeper into those two disciplines.
With that, Nolan is a firm believer in pursuing your passion without giving up… well, unless you’ve really thought about it and know it’s the right thing for you to do, like the time he gave up being a professional piano player!

Endlessly inquisitive, positive and self-motivated, Phong combines an entrepreneurial spirit with an unbridled enthusiasm for collaboration. While pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management at Kwantlen Polytechnic, Phong started his own agency as a side gig, in which he helped small businesses get started within digital marketing and establish an online presence.
A born extrovert, Phong loves meeting new people and prizes personal relationships above all else. In his off-time he likes to keep active by playing sports or just being out-and-about in the fresh coastal air. Always eager to learn new things, he’s been known to spend many an evening down a Google-powered rabbit hole of interesting trivia.
On top of all that, Phong has been cutting his own hair since he was 13 years old. Not even COVID-19 quarantine can keep him from sporting fresh fades, much to the envy of his rather shaggy friends and colleagues.
Software Developer - Technology & Development
Curious, motivated and a die-hard Naruto fan, Raheem “The Machine” recently earned his degree in Computer Engineering from SFU. During his studies, he had the opportunity to work on biomedical software, which included developing an iOS app to assist patients with Parkinson’s. It’s here where he fell in love with software development and using tech to solve complex problems. He’s most proud of persevering through challenging content early in his program, only to find himself leading his classmates in labs dealing with the very same material. His drive and desire to learn from and share his expertise with others make him a valuable addition to the T&D team.
He’s also quite the poet! Inspired by the lyrical wizardry of Lupe Fiasco, Raheem took to composing raps in high school—with a little digging, you might find some of them on YouTube! In his free time, he enjoys gaming, anime, and best of all, sampling all the culinary delights downtown Vancouver has to offer!

A team player with a keen eye for detail, Randy is no stranger to working with numbers. After earning his accounting degree, he worked in the finance industry for several years, at one point leading a highly successful business process improvement project. However, he always had a lifelong passion for tech, and welcomed the opportunity to trade balance sheets for data points as part of LoKnow’s A&O team.
Randy loves spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling to new and interesting places with them. He’s always sure to document his journeys, taking plenty of photos and videos as valued mementos. He’s also a huge sports fan, and is totally down to discuss anything sports-related at any time. Between his passion for sports and penchant for facts & figures, Randy is a dangerous man to have on your trivia team!

You know that one person who can figure out how to do anything and then does it better than you? Ross is that guy, though he’d never say so himself. Focused and meticulous, with a dry sense of humour, Ross lives by the words of the great Macho Man Randy Savage too, “Do the thing, ooooh yeah!” A graduate of the University of Alberta with a degree in history, Ross honed his design skills as the Design and Production Editor at The Gateway newspaper, spending more time on his weekly comics than attending graduate classes. The devotion paid off as he went on to self-publish an e-book of his work in 2015. An avid pacer, graphic doodler, alpha cat, and wander-luster, Ross spent two months exploring the lands of his British and Irish ancestors in 2010, and a couple of weeks in Japan in 2015 only to discover that amidst a land rife with UNESCO World Heritage sites and natural splendour, the highlight of the trip was dinner theatre run by ninjas. At the office, Ross will sit for hours focused on his work, with the occasional guitar strumming or one-handed chin-ups breaks.

Ruya is a lively, analytical ambivert with a thirst for knowledge and a flair for fashion. Originally from India, she moved to Vancouver to pursue a business degree at UBC, where she became fascinated by working with data and using it to devise strategies and convey messaging. This led her to further her education in Digital Marketing, as well as get hands-on experience as the sole in-house marketer for a local social enterprise. Her eagerness to learn more brought her to LoKnow, where she relishes the opportunity to play with LoKnow’s cool marketing tech.
Speaking of relish, Ruya is quite the cook! She particularly likes to prepare Indian delicacies, which keep her and her sisters in touch with their homeland and the flavours of their youth. In her free time she likes to keep active by working out or playing tennis, or relaxing with a movie or a podcast. Her pride and joy is her wardrobe—for Ruya, dressing up is serious business, as well as therapeutic. There’s nothing better than feeling good while looking sharp!

Drumroll please! Meet Ryan: musician, designer and now a Specialist on our C&C team! A graphic design graduate from the Art Institute of Vancouver, Ryan has worked in a variety of design-adjacent industries, including working in a print shop, rotoscoping for a TV Pilot, and freelance graphic design. After taking a brief sabbatical to explore other pursuits, Ryan discovered LoKnow, which offered a role perfectly attuned to his interest in data management and his need to flex his creative muscles.
Ryan has been dancing to the beat of his own drum all his life. He’s expressed his creative side since the age of five, whether he was drawing his own Spider-Man comics or making home movies with his brothers and sisters. Today however, you’ll likely find him playing drums in his band, writing and recording songs at home, or adding to his vast vinyl record collection. Mastering instruments also happens to be Ryan’s forte — he’s proficient on the drums, guitar, bass, and can even sing (but if you ask him in person, he’ll strongly deny it). When he’s not at band practice or adding a new instrument to his repertoire, he’ll likely be sharpening his drawing and painting skills. Though his goals include living a fruitful and meaningful life, he’ll also settle for the rockstar life!

Meet Samantha: giggly, honest, hard-working, proud Taylor Swift fan, all tied together with a smile. Graduating from BCIT’s Marketing Management – Marketing Communications program kicked off Samantha’s decade-long love story with media. Working at radio stations and agencies, she earned a reputation for anticipating project needs and potential problems, shaking them off as if she knew they were trouble.
When she needs to calm down, she likes to meticulously plan her next globetrotting adventure, sourcing the best deals and setting firm budgets and itineraries to ensure maximum happiness for evermore. She’s amassed an impressive collection of souvenir Starbucks mugs from gorgeous and exotic locales like Dubai and Edmonton. She once chased down a person she saw drinking a Frappuccino in Mykonos just to ask where the Starbucks was!
Such fearless determination has led to much success in her career. In a previous job, she won the company’s coveted sales award after only being there a year, a prize that included a trip to Cancun! Of course, the first thing she did there was go to Starbucks. She no doubt had to fill a blank space in her mug collection.

An internationally-trained professional accountant, Satya brings more than 7 years experience in number-crunching to the team. With a keen hunger for knowledge, Satya’s prowess drove her to further develop her skills, including earning an Accounting Technician certification from NAIT in 2021. Her most recent adventure in finance brings her to LoKnow as part of our F&A team.
When she’s not flexing her analytical left-side brain, Satya likes to get creative by upcycling waste into DIY crafts. She’s made the odd wallet and wall decor from used denim and old recyclables. Since moving from India in 2019, Satya has developed a passion for travelling with her husband, and snapping memories with her camera along the way. When the two aren’t airbourne, you can find them racket-deep in a friendly (but competitive) game of badminton.

Have you ever seen the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise? It’s actually a biopic of Stephen’s life, well, all except for the wealthy New Yorkers, illegitimate pregnancies, and excessive drama. When he’s not working at LoKnow, Stephen runs a small catering and pop-up restaurant company. He has a passion for fine food and a well-made cocktail. Known for hosting a mean dinner party, Stephen honed his skills cooking for his fraternity brothers at the University of Alberta, where he studied political science and economics. He’s also a fanatic about playing sports. All sports. He plays competitive soccer and recreational everything else, and you can’t shut him up about hockey pools, fantasy football, and any other imaginary sports played for fake internet points. Stephen’s other idea of fun is playing strategy board games into the wee hours of the morning. He’s a detail noticer and will work hard to make sure every project he undertakes ends up wowing those around him.

Doing what you’re passionate about while working with good people is a dream-come-true for Theo, LoKnow’s easygoing fiscal whiz-kid. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MacEwan University, Theo has always been intrigued by finance and is currently working towards attaining a designation as a Certified Financial Planner.
Away from his spreadsheets, Theo likes to keep active by running, playing soccer or basketball, and going on adventures that take him out of his comfort zone—like the time he went white-water rafting for the first time while in Switzerland, without knowing how to swim. When not playing sports, Theo spends his evenings loudly venting his displeasure at professional athletes. Sure, they probably can’t hear him through the TV, but at least his neighbours are fully aware that that was an obvious dive. Get your eyes checked, ref!
Formerly from Fort McMurray, he and his family were fleeing the great wildfire of 2016 when their car broke down on the roadside. Unable to flag down a ride from fellow evacuees, Theo had the brilliant idea to hold their cat, Kat, aloft much like young Simba in The Lion King, to catch the eye of a passing motorist so his family could hitch a ride out of town. This innate appreciation for the persuasive power of cats leaves no doubt that he was destined to join the LoKnow team.

Say hello to the toe-tapping Tiffany! Tiffany spent her formative years as part of her school’s dance team, mastering Chinese Folk and Western dancing and competing in several inter-school festivals. After earning a post-secondary degree in Hotel Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, she embarked on a varied career spanning hospitality, banking and digital marketing. The challenge and fun of the latter drove her to pursue digital marketing & advertising full time, bringing her to Toronto and eventually to LoKnow as part of our A&O team.
Dancing aside, Tiffany’s hobbies include yoga, city-walking, and riding the highest, fastest roller coasters at Canada’s Wonderland. When chilling out, she likes sitting on the lakeshore with a cup of good coffee, or spending a relaxing evening gaming on the couch.

Curious and inquisitive, Vaibhuv approaches everything with an eagerness to learn. With a background in stage performance, his first foray into the ad world was making TV commercials. His love of media, travel and environmental stewardship drove him to pursue a master’s degree in sustainable tourism in Melbourne. Along the way he was introduced to digital marketing, and marveled at the power and granularity of the medium. Being the sole digital marketer at his previous jobs, he felt his knowledge could only go so far, and saw joining LoKnow as a fantastic opportunity to trade skills and advance his knowledge.
In his spare time, Vaibhuv is happiest outdoors, going on a hike or enjoying a cold beer with some hot tunes. He’ll even occasionally provide those tunes by playing his guitar, a prized possession he’s travelled with for the past 15 years. Above all, nothing beats spending time with friends and cracking bad jokes; hey, when you know your jokes are bad, a groan is just as good as a chuckle!

A Lake Louise regular, Will has been skiing ever since he learned how to walk. Naturally unbothered by the cold, his ideal day includes hitting the slopes at the crack of dawn, with most of his evenings spent at the rink where he coaches a U16AA hockey team. A multi-sport varsity athlete during his student days, Will continues to keep active on his slo-pitch team, fishing when he finds the time, and weekends on the golf course with friends and family. His track record currently holds two hole-in-ones and an albatross (2 shots on a par 5).

We need those ads optimized STAT! Meet Ying-Ling—former med student turned advertiser extraordinaire! She found her calling in the world of digital advertising, delighting in checking on the vitals of ongoing campaigns and keeping client ads in tip-top shape. Drawn to LoKnow by the friendly vibes and cool proprietary technology, Ying-Ling was excited to work alongside some of the industry’s best and brightest as part of LoKnow’s A&O team.
Ying-Ling wakes up to no ordinary alarm, but to the sound of her Tuxedo cat, Nini, wailing for breakfast. Luckily, the early start to the day gives her time to carry out some healthy habits of her own, like doing some deep stretching and cooking a hearty breakfast. When she wants to get her heart pumping, Ying-Ling literally has the ‘Moves like Jagger’, excelling in freestyle, hip hop, and popping for over a decade.
