Vik is the guy in the office who knows a thing or two about any topic. Try him. He’s guaranteed read an article about whatever obscure Nixon-era political fact, the latest top-secret Silicon Valley tech or NCAA March Madness stat you just googled. He’s the one you’ll really want as your Phone a Friend when a million dollars is on the line. A cheerful and innovative ideas man who knows how to get moving on a project, Vik likes to stay busy and has been that way since his poli-sci university days when he had a different club meeting almost every day of the week. These days, running the ship at LoKnow fills his time—not to mention constantly distracting the staff with his incessant chattiness and non-stop movie trivia—but he gets the itch to travel every so often and is always excited to tick another country off the list.

Never one to miss the nuances of conversation, Travis is always up to bat with a dry one-liner that gets the team laughing. Born on Christmas day, he’s used to sharing the spotlight and taking one for the team. He once literally took one in the form of a broken arm trying to hood slide a car like Starsky and Hutch. A Lethbridge native, Travis founded Bearly Clothing while at the University of Lethbridge, shipping orders to the West Coast and making local deliveries. His work ethic impressed and he was hired to work at LoKnow straight outta university and landed a high-profile client within months. Travis’ management degree saw him graduate with great distinction in marketing and become a semi-finalist in Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec. A Jays fan, Travis has travelled to see them play in Seattle and in game five of the 2016 ALCS in Toronto. His competitive nature comes out on the volleyball court and while golfing, surfing and trying to race Justin to the office in the morning.

Anna has been a creative character since childhood when the ambidextrous artist decided to write and paint left-handed and do everything else with her right. Hey, it’s tough being a lefty in a right-handed world. She has been smitten with all things marketing, communications and design since she landed her first graphic design job at 18 years old. Anna has worked on a Summit Creative Awards winning campaign and has volunteered on the marketing committee for the Nordlys Film and Arts Festival. She’s an adventurer who loves nothing better than getting out on the open road and driving to anywhere with a good view, a spot to set up a tent, light a fire, put up her feet and escape into a good book (or podcast). If she’s not participating in a dance or fitness class, she’s often off hiking and exploring another of Alberta’s trails. Anna has a love for learning and an eye for details and will work on a project until it’s pretty and makes sense. She’s our go-to for finishing touches and think-outside-the-box ideas.

An outdoor enthusiast through and through, Cam is an avid hiker, runner, snowboarder, wakeboarder and mountain biker. He’s been involved in three avalanches, two Death Races and even caught a fish once while wakeboarding. How this guy is still alive, we’re not quite sure. It could be due to his eternal optimism. Cam always wakes up on the right side of the bed and might just be the friendliest guy you’ve ever met. He’ll converse with you for hours on any topic, including how to find the best lighting for nature photography, how to rebuild your car’s engine—he rebuilt his first when he was 14—or even the finer details of particle physics and quantum field theory. Cam has an MBA from Queens where he won multiple internal and external case studies, and also studied in Hong Kong while a University of Alberta student working on his BCom in Marketing and Business Law. Cam’s passion for life, learning, adventure—and fast cars—follows him from home to the office. He’ll always go the extra mile when it comes to client care and won’t stop working until every part of a campaign is race-ready.

Adam loves living a healthy lifestyle and he’s tried just about every nutritional regimen there is: vegetarian, vegan, keto, high and low carbs and Meatless Mondays. He’s always been an active and outdoorsy person—biking, running, skiing, volleyball—but became more so after being diagnosed with testicular cancer while still a University of Lethbridge student. At that point he began listening to every podcast he could find about health and longevity. He even takes a cold shower every day, for frig sakes. Adam has learned more through his own studies than during his time at university. That’s not to say his education was a waste. He studied urban studies and is intrigued by things like urban sprawl and city planning, and also worked for the City of Lethbridge for five years. Adam’s positive outlook on life is infectious and he loves being around people. He believes life should be balanced—when grandma makes you Christmas dinner, you eat the pie and then a second piece of pie!—and gets up from his desk to walk outside every day. On a recent, month-long trip to Spain, Italy and Greece, he left home with no budget, no backpack and no plan and had one of the most freeing times of his life.

No challenge stumps Aitzi. Hailing from Spain where she had an established career in radio journalism, she moved to Austria to learn German from scratch. Two years in and she was fully fluent! That was also when Aitzi was drawn to a career into digital marketing.
Like a colourful chameleon, not only does Aitzi adapt to all the new places and challenges that face her, she also makes great things out of them. Leaving her comfort zone behind, Aitzi moved to Canada together with her super brand-new family to chase after her dreams. One of her passions is teaching Spanish because she gets to speak her native tongue in front of people, which she finds reminiscent of her radio days.
As someone who loves a good challenge (and the mountains), Vancouver was the place for Aitzi. If she isn’t hiking, she’s probably listening to the radio or planning her next indie music excursion–artists who are probably cooler than anyone in your playlist!
Aitzi avoids buses and trains, preferring to ride her bike to get from point A to B and appreciates the workout. It’s the way Aitzi rolls… literally!

Back when the internet was young and fresh, teenage Amy taught herself how to make websites. Her inspirations? Mandy Moore, O-Town and rainbows. Yass! She studied software engineering at university and went on to build a pop-culture website empire that included sites on Hunger Games, Game of Thrones and actors Darren Criss and Robert Pattinson, which at one point was pulling in 10 million page views per month. At the same time, she managed to play 200 days’ worth of World of Warcraft. Amy loves Game of Thrones and co-created a GoT podcast and travelled to Croatia to visit King’s Landing—Red Keep! When she was 12 her family moved to Botswana for a year where their safari jeep once got stuck between a mama elephant and her baby. Amy loves animals and has been vegan for eight years—she decided to cut off meat cold turkey (get it?). Amy is big on weightlifting and you can find her at the gym four or five nights a week. She’s the kind of person who loves life and doesn’t take anything too seriously, classic Gryffindor. If she’s really engrossed in a project she’ll lose all track of time and stay up until 3am working on it.
Senior Client Advisor
Born and raised in England, Amy has that affable accent and British charm we all love about the Brits. She is an enthusiast of English literature, computer technology, art and drama. She’s no rookie to the spotlight either. After graduating Chichester College with a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and Media Studies, she worked with an acting and modelling agency in London and appeared in several British TV shows. She stayed busy after moving to Canada in 2007 as well, selling ads for a small visitor’s magazine in Cranbrook, BC where her energy and sunny outlook helped double the size of the magazine within a year. She went on to start her own sales and marketing company throughout the East Kootenays while moonlighting as a paramedic and appearing in numerous TV shows and movies filmed in the area. See if you can spot her in Hot Tub Time Machine or Disney’s Santa Pups. Amy has been a member of the team since the beginning and she highly values all the relationships she has developed with her clients.

Ash is the busiest person you’ll ever meet who still always seems to have her nose stuck in a book. A chill brainiac who is passionate about freedom of expression and the arts, she graduated from the Arts and Cultural Management Program from MacEwan University and later studied film studies at the University of Alberta. Ash is super involved in the arts and cultural scene and has volunteered as the treasurer for the Film and Video Arts Society, a programmer for Metro Cinema, the communications coordinator for the Edmonton Film School, a board member with Canadian University Press and as a coordinator with the Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth. She once caught a friend’s baby during a home birth as it decided to make an early arrival when the father was out of the room. To top it all off, Ash sings, plays guitar and plays piano in several bands. She likes to support local musicians by attending shows every weekend. Her fighter-pilot father moved the family to Botswana for a few years when she was a child, and she looks forward to returning there someday with her sons to dance and make music with the locals and camp out in lion country.

Ben likes to keep active by going to the gym, playing hockey and snowboarding. You’d think he’d have some painful broken bone stories to share, but his calcium stores are too strong for that as he’s never so much as had a fracture. Ben’s love of sports extends to the professional leagues and the Blue Jays, Cowboys and Oilers get his loudest cheers—but that’s where the noise ends. He’s not one of those guys who’ll yell, “Missed a spot!” at unsuspecting zamboni drivers. He understands the pressure of having an arena full of people watching you manoeuvre a giant mop around the ice since he used to drive one himself. Ben graduated with a BCom from MacEwan University, is also a NAIT Marketing grad. Before coming our way worked he as a trainmaster at CN. This guy has had the coolest jobs! Ben likes to spend his weekends camping and brings along his very silly husky-cross Stella. If he happens to be sticking around the city he’ll either be sitting on a patio, drink in hand, or bingeing a new Netflix series while waiting for HBO to release the latest season of Game of Thrones. Oh, and he believes that all of Westeros is screwed with a white walker dragon on the loose.

Quiet on set! Brian can belt out that clarion call at higher than 110 decibels when needed, having worked as an assistant director in Toronto’s film industry for ten years. At any given point during a day he was responsible for dozens of actors and stunt personnel, and coordinating over 100 crew. Making sure they were in the right place at the right time, fixing problems, thinking on the fly and basically creating order against an unyielding tide of chaos—actors, am I right? Brian then completed post-grad studies in PR and Interactive Marketing Communications and worked as a freelancer before making the journey west. His pastimes include creating card and board games and TV show outlines. He has even created characters, mostly villains, that have appeared on television. Brian’s pretty much a jack-of-all-trades and regardless of the project he’s working on, he’s listening to a soundtrack tailored to the job. Brainstorming walks at night might call for one of his favourite horror soundtracks, while showing up early to crunch some pre-morning tasks might demand that the office sound like a 3am rave.

Blending art and science is not easy, but Daniel has done exactly that. Having learned how to play the piano and currently singing in a jazz choir, Daniel has followed his adoration for music. Likewise, he pursued his passion for technology by studying Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge and turned this hobby into a career.
Daniel once spent a year in Nairobi, Kenya, volunteering his skills to develop software for a hospital. He has travelled all across East Africa, as well as Hong Kong, Spain, Germany and South Africa. A fluent French speaker, Daniel seized the opportunity to work in Montreal for a year and a half, as it was a great excuse to spend more time and bond with his brother who studied there.
Daniel is fascinated by philanthropy when it has a positive effect on healthcare, education and poverty, particularly the work of Bill and Melinda Gates. His own contributions include chapel speaking at a boys’ camp where he came up with a week’s worth of lessons, incorporating fun elements like costumes, raps and lasers. Talk about inspiring!

Meet Divleen, a self-proclaimed monkey! Divleen learned how to do aerial silk aerobics at Circofit because she enjoys focusing on sense development, balance, core development, and flexibility. This Thursday evening tradition keeps her motivated and fired up all throughout the week!
Like the true Gryffindor that she is, Divleen is always curious about how things work, why things are a certain way, and how she can advance herself. To satiate her curiosity about the world, Divleen went on an exchange trip to Vienna to finish her BComm degree and travelled to twenty-two countries in 2017! Her goal is to always have the number of countries she’s visited exceed her age numerically.
Divleen is always looking to grow and challenge herself. Having graduated from the University of Alberta after she studied HR, she particularly wanted to satisfy the love she has for building relationships and connecting with people to help in any way she can.
As someone who is always intrigued by human and consumer behaviour, Divleen enjoys working with LoKnow’s clients, researching their customer base, and learning more about their industries.

Gabby brightens up every room she enters with her vibrant smile and a laugh that can be heard two floors down. Seriously, she is that loud and nothing makes her laugh harder than a good pun. She’s always up for fun and thinks she can rap like Cardi B or Nicki Minaj, while claiming Khloe Kardashian is her spirit animal. She is an energy exchange student at Moksha Yoga and is on the path to complete her teacher’s certificate. Gabby works as hard, if not more so, than she plays. Working for a decade at ATB Financial, she moved her way up to become the company’s youngest personal banking manager and had the most successful branch opening to date—turning a profit during the recession. She was an ATB President’s League winner three times. She is also an entrepreneur and owned a small travel franchise that only fuelled her huge passion for globe-trotting. She’s been to Vegas 45 times, Bora Bora, the Caribbean, Thailand and most of Europe, including Italy, her family’s home country. To sound more legit Italian, Gabby claims Corso 32 is her favourite restaurant, but we all know it’s really McDonalds. She is a lover of espresso and prosecco and is guaranteed to beat any competition at pop-culture trivia night.

Hiral has a special place in her heart for travelling and seeing the world. Having moved to Canada from India, she uses her time off to see countries and learn about their cultures and foods. If she can afford it, she aspires to travel abroad once every year.
If she isn’t travelling (or thinking about travelling), Hiral kicks back by watching crime and romcom shows. Like the truly resourceful person that she is, Hiral can whip up a truly delicious meal from a variety of cuisines such as Indian, Mexican, and Italian; however, we don’t speak of the time Hiral made a cake and it didn’t work out. She makes total boss cookies though, so all is good!
Always striving to stay relevant, Hiral also spends her free time learning and improving her skills, particularly technologies that can help her advance her career. With her largely self-taught skillset, Hiral was able to accomplish much in her career in the two short years she’s been in Canada.

Basketball is life! Well, to Imran that is. He plays basketball, watches basketball, and breathes basketball. Sports in general, are a joy magnet to Imran; he watches hockey, football, and Netflix (yes, this could be a sport too!).
When he’s away from a screen, Imran likes to read fiction novels, specifically Stephen King, and he’ll recommend the book over the movie any day! That said, Imran still really enjoys movies—he’ll pretty much dive into any horror movie headfirst. The more you see terribly terrifying horror movies, the thicker your skin will be and you’ll enjoy them more – or so it has worked for fearless Imran.
With a personality like Imran’s, he sure has lots of fans, the most important of whom is his cat Luna, who likes to cuddle and then give Imran the cold shoulder! Funny story: Imran thought Luna was a girl when he first got him, later to learn he’s a boy. Either way, Imran is a proud cat father.
Much like his sports, Imran is super on top of his game when it comes to his work. With a passion that started from high school, Imran pursued a computer science degree where he found an enjoyment for backend and frontend programming. He also built a compiler from scratch, which converts machine codes into actual actions – pretty cool if you ask us!

Karim is the type of go-getter who puts us all to shame. He’s an early riser who wakes up at 6am every day, reads the news and then heads to the gym. Taking advantage of those early morning hours gives him the boost he needs for the day. Karim is a very curious person and loves knowing what’s going on in the world. Besides reading a lot of news, he watches political late-night shows like John Oliver and Jon Stewart to get a different spin on what happened that week. He’s lived all over the world and loves food from every culture. He was born in Louisiana, moved to Egypt at age 2, spent middle school in Dubai and the majority of high school in Brunei before finishing up in Calgary. Big into team sports, Karim has broken just about every finger playing rugby. After studying communications at the University of Calgary, he worked in business development for Xerox and for an oil and gas company. He’s a businessman at heart but still loves playing pranks. He thinks life is already serious enough and we should all lighten up a little, put on some Monty Python and laugh at the ridiculous humour.

Kyle knows how to tetris a moving van. He has lived in 15 homes in eight different cities and is a pro at packing a box. He’s called Vancouver home for the past eight years and spent a couple of them fostering kittens. He’s kind of a softie and taught them how to play fetch and walk on a leash. He was involved in the music industry for nearly 10 years in artist management, event promotions and contract negotiations. He owned a record label, was a music blogger, published lyricist and a DJ. He’s now transitioning into video blogging. Kyle is driven in whatever he does and won top awards when he worked at InfoBip, Yellow Pages and Future Shop. He is a UBCO political science grad and loves talking about what’s going on in politics and world events. Kyle has dislocated his shoulder more than 20 times. How, you ask? Mainly through sports like soccer, volleyball and baseball, but for some reason even fist pumping and sleeping can throw it out of joint. Although a bit of a minimalist, his book and vinyl collections take up a fair chunk of space in his home. Oh, and all his Batman stuff. Bring up any topic with Kyle and you’re guaranteed to have an engaging conversation.

The best detective in town ain’t got nothing on Lucas, especially when it comes to programming! He leaves no clues unsolved when it comes to working out the intricacies of coding. Fully self-taught, Lucas created his first app and sold it within a year. Having been a software developer for the past three years, he loves unique challenges and constantly learning new things. A good listener and a good learner, he always stays up to date on new programming trends by reading research papers about the field.
It comes as no surprise that Lucas enjoys reading Sherlock Holmes murder mysteries when he isn’t tackling coding mysteries himself, and he particularly savours self-help books that feed his curiosity.
Remember the good listener thing we mentioned earlier? Well, it comes in handy to other people because Lucas loves to hear people out and help solve their problems if he can – his friends are pretty lucky if you ask us! If he could, Lucas would spend all his superpowers on helping those in need.

Matt can’t seem to stay in one place for too long. A couple of years after graduating with a computer science degree from the U of A, he caught the travel bug and has been hooked ever since. Starting in Japan, he worked his way west through Southeast Asia where he met lots of English and Irish travellers who persuaded him to stop for a while to teach English. After a year teaching in Thailand, Matt continued his journey through Turkey, the Balkans, Germany and the UK. His travel style includes making a list of must-sees and then going with his gut. Life can’t be too structured. After popping home for a month to say hi to the folks, he spent two years working in a startup in Belfast. Born in Sherwood Park, Matt got into computers as a teenager when he started making video games about random civilizations and worlds. After graduation he worked for a couple of years in the university’s machine learning lab. Matt plays violin, likes rock climbing and bouldering and watching shows with storylines that draw him in like Game of Thrones, Halt and Catch Fire and The Wire.

Michelle moved to Vancouver a few years ago from Hong Kong and is quite the linguist. She perfected her English by getting involved in student groups, working in a bubble tea shop and joining an a cappella choir. She also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean—thank you, Korean dramas!—a little bit of Japanese and enough Portuguese to teach her friends how to swear. She has become quite accustomed to the West Coast’s laid-back lifestyle and loves looking up at the sky and the tall trees. She says in Hong Kong the buildings are so tall she didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy nature in the same way. She’s noticed that even our escalators are laid-back, whereas in Hong Kong they’re so fast that if you’re not paying attention you could fly right off. Michelle studied communications and publishing at Simon Fraser University and has an interest in book-jacket design. She loves a simple image that uses the right colour scheme to capture a reader’s attention—you might say she really does judge a book by its cover. She loves wandering and exploring the city, book in hand, and if she’s not hanging out at a coffee shop in Gastown, she’s most likely lounging around English Bay.

Molly is an artist and a dreamer who loves travelling and new experiences. She studied fine arts at UBC Okanagan where she discovered a love for sculpture, welding and transferring images onto plywood. In fact, she was chosen to be one of five Canadian students who travelled to Ajijic, Mexico to live as artists-in-residence for a month. She loved working in the sun, surrounded by other creatives, where she made collages that she turned into sculptures when she returned to Canada. She switched primarily to digital artwork and collage after university and is inspired by old photos of her family, nostalgia and items that make her think of family, which has included a lot dogs: an Australian Cattle rescue named Bailor, a Labradoodle named Olive, and her newest adoptee, husky Morley. Molly is a foodie and learned a recipe or two from the Mexican house mom during her stay. She’s also a big fan of trying out new restaurants and bars in Calgary—where’s she lived all her life—and her bike rides along the river are generally food-motivated and more often than not end with cookies and cream ice cream! Unless she stops at Village Ice Cream, then it’s melted chocolate all the way.

Mona moved to Canada from Egypt when she was 17 years old to study fine arts at the University of Calgary. From a young age she knew she wanted to be a computer artist, even designing her first logo at the age of 10 on Microsoft Paint. She loves everything about graphic design: brands, layout, strategy and thinking of the best colour combinations. So, obviously, she has an amazing eye for detail. When Mona is in work mode, she’s focused like a hawk and is persistent in her quest to solve any creative problem that comes her way. All that focus takes a lot of coffee and by her third cup, Mona’s giggles get everyone else laughing. Speaking of offices, Mona can re-watch The Office over and over. Sometimes she just doesn’t want to commit to a new show and new characters, and that’s A-okay. She’s also Meryl Streep’s and Adele’s biggest fan and wishes the three of them could be best friends. Mona is a bit of a paradox in that she loves keeping it fresh and being creative, but when going out to eat she’ll always order the same thing. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all.
Machine Learning Specialist
Nolan is our resident machine learning specialist, but he himself is a learning machine. Graduating from the University of Calgary with an honours degree in physics, Nolan discovered his passion for machine learning when he got to test the efficacy of quantum computers. He spends a lot of his time studying and reading university-level textbooks on physics and electrical engineering. When he really wants to relax, Nolan plays computer games that tickle his strategy-loving nature.
An avid learner, Nolan thinks of his university experience as learning how to learn, and is fascinated by teaching. He particularly looks up to physicist Richard Feynman and his easy-to-follow approach to teaching difficult concepts. Along with his interest in electrical engineering, he would someday like to delve deeper into those two disciplines.
With that, Nolan is a firm believer in pursuing your passion without giving up… well, unless you’ve really thought about it and know it’s the right thing for you to do, like the time he gave up being a professional piano player!
Regan moved back to his hometown of Winnipeg after a 25-year hiatus down under. He got his start selling sporting goods before branching into the ski industry at Sun Ice Ski Wear in Calgary. As sales manager, he signed the Canadian National Ski Team to the brand and the Team started to win! Coincidence? Sales went from 1M to 40M and the brand was awarded Official supplier to 88 Calgary Winter Olympics. This was a big win as Regan’s first love has always been skiing. He’s heli-skied in the Kootenays, spent 250 days at Whistler, and skied Banff, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Vail and Tahoe, to name a few. In ‘94 the family moved to Melbourne where Regan worked with Callaway Golf as the national sales manager for the South Pacific. He’s the kind of guy who’s got a great energy and will try anything once. In Australia he learned to surf, drive on the wrong side of the road and call a sweater a jumper. Since he’s been back in Canada, he’s started skiing and ice skating again and riding his bike every day. He’s also got a thing for old speed boats—and owned a 22′ mahogany boat. He loves the varnish, the sound of the motor, the wind in his hair and being on the water.

You know that one person who can figure out how to do anything and then does it better than you? Ross is that guy, though he’d never say so himself. Focused and meticulous, with a dry sense of humour, Ross lives by the words of the great Macho Man Randy Savage too, “Do the thing, ooooh yeah!” A graduate of the University of Alberta with a degree in history, Ross honed his design skills as the Design and Production Editor at The Gateway newspaper, spending more time on his weekly comics than attending graduate classes. The devotion paid off as he went on to self-publish an e-book of his work in 2015. An avid pacer, graphic doodler, alpha cat, and wander-luster, Ross spent two months exploring the lands of his British and Irish ancestors in 2010, and a couple of weeks in Japan in 2015 only to discover that amidst a land rife with UNESCO World Heritage sites and natural splendour, the highlight of the trip was dinner theatre run by ninjas. At the office, Ross will sit for hours focused on his work, with the occasional guitar strumming or one-handed chin-ups breaks.

A camping fan since childhood, Steph grew up going to campgrounds with her family in Ontario but as an adult, turned into an outback enthusiast. She now prefers the adventure and solitude that come from hiking into a remote camping spot in the mountains. Starry nights, nature sounds and squatting in the bushes. In the summer she loves rock climbing and bouldering and in winter she’s often snowshoeing in Elk Island National Park. Born and raised in Ottawa, Steph has a degree in conflict studies combined from St. Paul and Ottawa Universities. Her family has Italian and Arabic backgrounds and she loves cooking recipes that have been passed down through the generations—you gotta try her spaghetti sauce! And tabbouleh, she makes a fantastic tabbouleh. Steph is curious about the world and likes to travel. She did a cultural exchange to an Aboriginal reserve in Newfoundland as a teen and has also travelled overseas. She’s had tea in the Hogwarts castle (Yer a wizard, Stephanie!) and loves period dramas. She nerded out to visit Jane Austen’s birthplace of Bath. In fact, she’ll watch anything related to Austen’s novels—even the zombie movie. Steph loves futuristic, doomsday-type movies, that is, if she can stay awake long enough to finish one.

Have you ever seen the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise? It’s actually a biopic of Stephen’s life, well, all except for the wealthy New Yorkers, illegitimate pregnancies, and excessive drama. When he’s not working at Carto, Stephen runs a small catering and pop-up restaurant company. He has a passion for fine food and a well-made cocktail. Known for hosting a mean dinner party, Stephen honed his skills cooking for his fraternity brothers at the University of Alberta, where he studied political science and economics. He’s also a fanatic about playing sports. All sports. He plays competitive soccer and recreational everything else, and you can’t shut him up about hockey pools, fantasy football, and any other imaginary sports played for fake internet points. Stephen’s other idea of fun is playing strategy board games into the wee hours of the morning. He’s a detail noticer and will work hard to make sure every project he undertakes ends up wowing those around him.

Flying is not merely a dream of Tyler’s, it’s a reality! With nerves of steel yet light as a feather, Tyler has been skydiving, paragliding and sailplaning, and he would happily do each of them over and over again. When he isn’t busy giving birds some serious competition, he stays grounded playing video games and cycling.
Intrigued by nature and its intricacies, Tyler started his university studies in biology. later switching to computer science. He took on that difficult challenge and crushed it, allowing himself to soar to new heights. Nowadays he shows his love for nature in a different way, hitting the mountains to snowboard and playing frisbee with his dog.
Speaking of which, the sky isn’t the only thing that’s “blue” in Tyler’s life—he deeply enjoys the company of his sweet, lovely mutt named Blue! How cute is that?

Hey there, sports fans! You might know your stuff but we bet you’re not as fanatic as Vi. Her goal is to visit every stadium in North America and she’s already hit 15 of them. She religiously watches football every Sunday and various other sports nearly nine months of the year with her dad and friends, cheering for the Seahawks, Oilers and Dodgers. She’s also huge into hot yoga and snowboarding. So much so that she’ll drive four hours from Edmonton to Banff to catch a good snowfall for a day of shredding down a mountain and then drive home. Her collection game is on point too. Being a bit of a sneakerhead, Vi collects shoes, mostly vintage Jordans, and has more than 40 pairs. Born and raised in Edmonton, Vi studied marketing at MacEwan University and has always been interested in the creative processes of advertising (maybe partially due to being a big Mad Men fan). But she might argue the best lessons come from the mob. At least on screen. Vi loves all things mafia-related like Casino, Goodfellas and The Sopranos, and as far back as she can remember always wanted to be a gangster. Jokes!
