M&B supports our team by acting as the voice of LoKnow, ensuring cohesion in our visuals, while adding a little bit of spice to our personality.

People & Culture

The People & Culture team, part of Know Company Inc, are powerhouses for everything HR-related at LoKnow, from policy development and coordination, to recruitment, onboarding and training, to developing employee benefit programs. P&C works closely with all departments to ensure our teams are fully staffed, while making sure our culture at LoKnow is constantly passing the vibe check.

Our finance fanatics spend their days finessing client invoicing, payment methods and more. The F&A team’s realm of expertise involves anything from making accurate budget forecasts to monitoring our daily funds and spending – in other words, they keep the lights on!

We know that applying for a new position can come with a lot of uncertainty, so we’ll do our best to calm some of those nerves — here’s what you can expect from us: Our application processes include application review, screening calls, panel interviews, technical assessments (if applicable) and final selection. If you’re a candidate contacted for a screening call, we’ll keep you in the loop at each stage of the process. If you don’t hear from us, here are some things to keep in mind as you apply for positions:
  • We care a lot about what we do, and we want to see that from our applicants too. Thoughtfulness and effort in your application go a long way!
  • Customizing your resume to each position helps recruiters to easily spot relevant information.
  • Read and follow directions carefully, including whether or not to include a cover letter and who it should be addressed to.
Our People & Culture team is currently based in Canada, and will be calling from a Canadian number. Candidates can expect our team to reach out by email first, from a ‘knowcompany.com’ email address before reaching out by phone call. We will only reach out to candidates who have submitted an application for a position.
We have seven working locations including Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Saskatoon, Toronto and Winnipeg.
Our Knowers are encouraged to work however they feel comfortable. You will not be expected to work from the office, however our offices will be available and open in accordance with public health guidelines for those who prefer to work in this setting.
Applicants must reside in Canada and be eligible to work on a full time basis (40 hours per week) for the next 12 months. Applicants must also reside in cities where a LoKnow office is established.
You can work from any location with a LoKnow office — these include Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Saskatoon and Toronto. You are welcome to move between, and visit offices at any of LoKnow’s location. Please note: there are a handful of positions that require you to work in a specific city – please refer to the job posting for details.
You can always apply for a position that catches your eye. If you don’t hear back from us this time, keep an eye out for new opportunities — open positions will be popping up as we continue to evolve!
Yes, however keep in mind that our openings are posted for every city LoKnow is open to hiring from, which may not necessarily mean that there is a position per city. If you are open to working from multiple cities, you are welcome to mention it in your cover letter.
Yes. Our ideal candidate would have all the qualifications listed in the job posting, but for the right candidate we are willing to create a development plan to help you bridge between your existing and required skills.
LoKnow offers training plans in accordance with your direct supervisor to get certified on any necessary platforms and keep our working industry knowledge up to date.
