Quiet on set! Brian can belt out that clarion call at higher than 110 decibels when needed, having worked as an assistant director in Toronto’s film industry for ten years. At any given point during a day he was responsible for dozens of actors and stunt personnel, and coordinating over 100 crew. Making sure they were in the right place at the right time, fixing problems, thinking on the fly and basically creating order against an unyielding tide of chaos—actors, am I right? Brian then completed post-grad studies in PR and Interactive Marketing Communications and worked as a freelancer before making the journey west. His pastimes include creating card and board games and TV show outlines. He has even created characters, mostly villains, that have appeared on television. Brian’s pretty much a jack-of-all-trades and regardless of the project he’s working on, he’s listening to a soundtrack tailored to the job. Brainstorming walks at night might call for one of his favourite horror soundtracks, while showing up early to crunch some pre-morning tasks might demand that the office sound like a 3am rave.
